Does everyone still have one of these in a drawer?

  1. As usual I love your line drawings best. Especially the string.

    1. Thank you, Liz - I didn't know that! I certainly do a lot of line drawings in the evenings, especially if I can't reach the watercolors because there's a cat on my collarbone ;)

    1. Thanks, Sally! When I flip through the sketchbook looking for a blank space, that eye always startles me :)

  3. The one from Tut's tomb...one could spin quite a story about that. Did someone escape? Was he packing for a trip and got interrupted? Or...so many possibilities!

    1. The images provide a lot of food for thought, that's for sure!

  4. I agree - doesn't everyone have at least one ball of string? I have balls of jute too, in several different weights.

    1. The only time I run out of balls of string or twine is when I'm trellising beans - it can take a lot. One year I used an entire ball of wool yarn that was so weirdly scritchy-scratchy I knew I'd never knit with it again.
