I thought you might like a little update on Lily of the Valley and her babies.
The girl, solid black, is Azalea.
The silver boy is Campion.
You last saw them at 6 days old:
According to the calendar,
this Sunday, they will be 6 weeks old.
I counted twice.
I simply cannot believe it.
Cannot.
I need to adjust my mental chronometer,
so please join me on this short trip
down Memory Lane.

Then...
and now:

By the way, does that last picture
remind you of anyone?
"Are you referring to me? Pah!
Only a kid would waste time chewing on shirt-tails.
I became a Grown Up Goat, overnight,
when Azalea and Campion were born."
I know, Tsuga, I know. But...
if you ever feel inclined to tug on my shirt-tail again,
I won't mind a bit.

Aaaah if only they'd stay little! So cute. Thanks for sharing! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeletethey are all so lovely. I want to stroke one and feel what their coat is like :-)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! You are so blessed to have such gorgeous friends to care for. I'm also amazed they are 6 weeks old (56 years on a typo). :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for a good smile and laugh
Is she the image of her mom? what wonderful pix. So glad you got your camera back.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore them! All three of them of course. Some day I would love to have a goat too, is it difficult to take care of them?
ReplyDeleteWell, you have to have at least two, as goats are herd animals are are not happy without another goat for company. So right there, you've got twice the trouble...but on a good day, you've also got twice the fun :)
DeleteOh what beautiful babies! You must be so proud of them and yourself, for rearing them :)

Oh, the mamagoats do all the real work; I'm just Staff. I think my role is a combination of Room Service and Housekeeping.
DeleteThese little ones are certainly full of personality, Quinn :)
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right! ;)
DeleteI'm so happy it comes across in the pictures.
Oops, his mom, not her mom....mixed the kids up.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling, Boud. Tsuga, Lily's daughter born last year, looks so much like Lily sometimes I have to look twice!
DeleteEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE - been on vacation, and thought I'd missed out on kids - thank you, Quinn! XOXO
ReplyDeleteWowee!!!! They're amazing, incredible, big, so cute... Oh my, you are very lucky to have such a wonderful little herd. I hope that Tsuga still tugs on your shirt tail every now and then :)
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful to see. I just love them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope you'll come see them again :)
