  1. I know you're experienced with care for everyone including you, in winter storms, but I still get concerned. Keep warm!

  2. Stay Safe!
I looks like you have things in order.
A few tiny flakes were falling here in this part of Vermont when I returned from the store this afternoon. Windshield cover is on. I'll fill buckets with water just in case.

    1. No power = no water here, so it's all-goat-buckets-on-deck for me :)

  3. Here in southern Idaho flakes are just now starting to drift down onto our brown lawn and flower beds. "Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible." We rather envy you those winter storm warnings, but then again we don't have goats. Hope you all stay warm and snug throughout!

    1. Before this one, our recent snowfalls were very much as you describe. Followed by a return of mud.

  4. Fingers crossed that the power stays on! I hope it's enough to be pretty, but doesn't make the digging out too awful.

    1. I hope the same for you. We did get a lot of snow, but this is the first time "get the vehicle out of the driveway somehow" has not been on my to-do list after a storm. So that's nice!

    1. It was a real storm, with lots of snow, but today - Monday - the sun is shining and the wind is low, so quite lovely :)

    1. Thank you - we were/are all in good shape here. The snow is deep, but more importantly, it is NOT ice! :)

  7. I'm late in paying you a visit so I assume the predicted storm is gone and hopefully you and the goats came through unscathed. There's a storm heading our way this afternoon with heavy snowfall, followed by freezing rain and then lots of rain so it's going to get messy if it does happen.
