markmaking monday


Lilies and daylilies have often modeled for Daily Markmaking recently.

      Thanks, Sally - that is a really special daylily that lives in the border garden next to the driveway. Every time it blooms, I have to stop on my way in or out and admire it for a while :)

    I love lilies but can't abide their smell (highly allergic) but daylilies are usually safe. We had several varieties in our garden but I think I loved the good ol' fashioned orange lilies the best.

      I never notice the smell of lilies, but now I will. Well, next year I will!

      My allergy is mainly to the white Easter lilies - those things are not ones I can even have in the house.
