and the winners are

The sun has been shining all day and I'm heading back outside for another round of cashmere combing. But I didn't forget about the Sow True Seed giveaway!

Here's the random.org result:

The winners are Spinnerin and Tess!

Please send me your mailing address (q.piper at hotmail dot com) and tell me whether you'd like the Summer squash or the Winter squash. I'll try to get the seeds in the mail this week.

Happy planting!

  1. Congrats to the winners and thanks Quinn, for saying who they are because I couldn't make heads or tails of the random generator thing!

    1. Sorry, I should probably explain within the post! Next time I'll try to remember to do that. The top section is the individual entries (some doubled because of Gardening Tips), numbered in order of posting as comments. The bottom section is the randomized integer list :)

    1. Yes, I'm hoping we'll see "progress" pictures during Summer 2018 :)

  3. I planted pumpkin seeds and had great success with them growing. Gorgeous leaves and they flowered, but once the heat started, they started to shrivel. One had totally died. And from what I can tell, I've only gotten male flowers, not any female ones, so no pumpkin. Hopefully I can try again next winter but will plant much sooner.

    1. Gosh, I'm surprised they can tolerate the heat in your neck of the woods at all. If you have a minute, look at the pictures I posted on Sept 28, 2017, "Thankful Thursday" - sorry I can't post a link in the comments, but you can find it in the sidebar.

  4. Yay for the lucky winners! Wish I had a garden still because I would definitely have thrown my name in the proverbial hat.
