But without a camera, my ability to communicate feels oddly restricted; like losing the power of speech. The camera is here at home, I think, and will likely be found soon - so fortunately, it's like losing the power of speech due to dental novacaine.
This morning I looked through the most recently downloaded images, hoping for a clue as to where I might have taken the camera next. No clue.
But I did find an image from a few days ago that seems appropriate for this post.

Oh, no fun! I hope you find the camera soon. The photo made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt made me laugh, too!
DeleteUh oh! I once lost a camera in the woods. It remained lost for several months near a site that bears frequent. When I found it, it had a deep tooth mark on its metal body (from a bear, I think) but it still worked! Miracle!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do hope that you find yours soon. Perhaps Piper could help?
That really IS a miracle!
DeleteSorry your camera is missing.
ReplyDeleteI look in my clothes first. I have heard that familiar clunk when sorting laundry.
I wish cameras could be called like a cell phone to find where they are. I have two cell phones for that purpose. I prefer prepaid because the cost is less
Usually by the time I realize my cellphone is missing, the battery is dead. I'm getting a little better at remembering to carry it when I head outdoors, so maybe I won't misplace it as often as when it just sits around in the house. Somewhere.
DeleteI misplace things all the time, so you're not alone! I try to always put cameras/phone/keys in the same spot so I don't have to look for them. Eye glasses is my most frustrating loss because I put them everywhere! For the life of me I cannot figure out your photo?? Maybe I should go find my glasses :o

Ha! It's a bottle of Pepto-Bismal, upended in a little glass :) The only way to get the last bit out of a bottle is to ask gravity for assistance.
DeleteOh no! I hope you found it. I've misplaced the cord to my big camera so can't download any of the pictures I've taken and that's irritating. I rearranged the tv room and have absolutely no idea what I did with it in the process. Of course, it should be in the bag with the other camera accessories. That's what I get for not putting things back in their place.
ReplyDeleteOnce I lost the charger for my camera batteries - left it in my room at a hotel and even though I realized it and called only hours later, the charger was never found. I was on my way into Yosemite for 3 days alone, and it was a very interesting thing to immerse myself in that landscape without a camera.
DeleteI hope the wayward camera has come back from going walkabout and is behaving itself now. Any chance it could have been in the car and fallen down beneath the seat?
