  1. As high as the temperatures are, they're probably trying to remain cool as if the heat can't see them. :)

    1. It has been...challenging. I've started watering my pole beans every evening to try to keep them going.

  2. Well they kind of look like they've been caught in the act of something naughty. Maybe they wish they were invisible at that moment? Very cute peeks ;)

    1. Oh no, not misbehaving - just tiptoeing around as if I can't see them unless we are making eye contact :)
Piper, on the other hand, really believes that I cannot see her if I'm on the phone. When the phone rings, she silently slinks off to look for trouble, or trash to redistribute. I don't know how she got the idea into her head, but nothing can budge it!

    1. Thanks, Tanya! I was hoping for "able to fly" or "can grow vegetables on rocks" but this is the superpower I got ;)

  4. Even your camera has the superpower!!!! It can photograph invisible goats! Wow.

Funny you mentioned Piper and the phone. Apparently (according to my trainer), that's quite common. She suggests that people keep a special toy by the phone that their dogs get to play with *only* when the human is on the phone. Fortunately, my dogs haven't learned this "trick" yet ;)

I love all the photos because the goats look like they're peeking at you!

    1. I didn't know it's a common thing about dogs and the phone - I'll have to try that idea! Thanks :)

  5. Ha-ha! Maybe they are like Jingles. When she sees that I'm about to take a picture of her, she becomes all aloof.

  7. Quinn-- they are adorable... Playing like little children do. I love goats.. At least from afar. I haven't a clue what entails owning a goat.. But I do think they are precious...

  8. I had a cat, that whenever a camera was produced, would cover her eyes with her paws. She hated the flash, she wouldn't move just untuck her paws and put them over her eyes. Aww cute.

    1. That is a very smart cat!
Piper began to turn away from the camera last year - I have no idea why. But I did manage to sneak a picture of her on today's post :)
