  2. Hey Quinn, what great photos. Since the logging last fall and the demise of my two large and ancient lilac bushes not many birds to be seen. Plus the bear keeps me from being able to put out a bird feeder. *sigh* so I'll have to watch the birds from your vantage point! :D

When I was still on Blogger I always blocked "Anonymous" and that stopped most of the spamming issues. It's so different over on Wordpress I'm still learning my way around. :D

How's the storm doing by you? We are getting hit, well have been since about 11:00 this morning. I must confess I really don't mind since I don't have anywhere to go... I can just sit inside in the warmth and watch the snowstorm through the well sealed windows! LOL!
Hope you are well my friend!
    Hugs always,
    Beth P

    1. Beth, my birdfeeder is only up after the bears have tucked in for the Winter, and it comes down in the early Spring before the bears are out and about. I learned the hard way...that very feeder in the photographs was torn apart several years ago by a family of four bears, while I watched from the other side of the window!
Now I start scattering a little seed by hand every morning in early Autumn, so the birds will know to come looking - but only enough seed that it will get eaten up quickly. And in the Spring, I do the same so the food supply isn't being cut off abruptly. But I only put up the birdfeeder in Winter! :)

    1. Same here, Sandra - about the chores and slowing down, anyway! I think you got more snow than here, but I don't mind one bit! ;)

  4. We've gotten so much snow over the last 2 days! It stopped for just a brief time and suddenly the blue jays were everywhere! Your chickadee photo is very cute!

  6. Those are wonderful photos of the chickadee in quite a snow storm. I hope it's tapering off or all done by now!
