Welcome to my saturated world.
Since Tuesday night, it has been raining off and on.
Mostly "on."
During a brief lull this morning, I grabbed my camera and hurried outside to take a few snaps to share with you.
I hope you like the color "wet."

Gorgeous pics, as always. I love the colour wet, and am eagerly anticipating the 4 consecutive cold fronts which are headed our way tonight - we have a severe weather warning in place, so hopelly our dam will get some water too :)
ReplyDeleteHope your dam fills up and settles quickly, now that you've put so much work into improvements!
Deletehere too, Quinn. except today it was sunny but windy and chilly. the house painters finished and the house looks wonderful! think I'll blog about it Monday.
ReplyDeleteI'll look forward to reading about it! Maybe I'll be inspired to do a repair or two here...plenty to choose from, I'm sorry to say :)
DeleteSuch beautiful photos :) We've had plenty of rain recently but now it's turned sunny for a bit.At least everything is green and lush!

Hi Rachel - welcome back! Thanks for leaving a comment and your new info.
DeleteI can commiserate! Hopefully you'll get some drying out soon. We finally have sort of. The garden beds are still heavy with moisture. Very lovely photos though. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was 34F when I got up this AM, but it quite warm and breezy so the soil is drying enough to plant at last. Doing a little at a time...seems like the only way I do anything lately, but at least it's forward progress!
DeleteThe colour wet ... I like it, it has a very British feel! Hope the sun came out :)
ReplyDeleteLovely rain drops : )
