Azalea with a frosty muzzle.
Barncam snap taken a few minutes ago.
6F.
Halfway to the barn.
Lily helping fetch in the hay.
By getting between me and the sled.
Someday I will post photographs that don't feature snow.
Can't say when, but someday.

Critters can be such a help, cant they!! I think you need a harness to let them pull in their own hay 😀
ReplyDeleteStill cold and snowy here but not as bad as you have it
By the way, I meant to tell you, the quilt is just so pretty there by the window in my bedroom, but we pull it off and use it when we need the extra! I think of you every time I look at it.
I looked into goat harness and carts years ago, when Acer and Betula were getting big and looking for work. Unfortunately, the equipment was just too expensive for an experiment.
DeleteI'm so glad you are enjoying the quilt :)
Ha - I love your helper!
ReplyDeleteMe too, but it's easier to love Lily when she's not helping!
DeleteAt least your goats will go out in the snow! Mine said no way. :)
ReplyDeleteBrrr! 6 F is way too cold for me. Rosie is ALWAYS in my way. Sending warm wishes.
ReplyDeleteYour temp is about the same as what ours is this morning. Not my idea of ideal, that's for sure. I'm looking forward to photos that don't feature snow too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good "helper" you have! At least you have packed trails, and I hope the snow has ameliorated the ice a bit (I'm sure the ice is underneath, but hope the packed snow on top is better footing. Chris from Boise
