the morning in snapshots

Morning windows: a late start today.
Didn't get outside til nearly 8!

Hard to get Violet in focus, as she moves toward me
the moment I get to the barn:

By contrast, Azalea stands her ground, waiting for me to open gates:

Mallow is content with his location...

...as is Della, when I come back in to make breakfast for the rest of us.

I hope your day has been lovely.

    1. Thank you so much! I'm trying a new photographing/blogging method, and it was rather convoluted but finally it worked ;)

  5. How lovely to see photos of the family! Mallow and Della look so content. Team Intrepid looks intrepid, and even if Azalea and Violet were a little impatient, I'm glad you allowed yourself a slow start this morning. Chris from Boise

  6. Loved seeing these photos, Quinn! The snow is pretty but I am sure it's problematic for you. The animals seem content though! That always amazes me. They must think we humans are the biggest sissies.
Wishing you a late happy Christmas! I am just now catching up with all my blog family!

    1. We got many more inches of snow overnight on the 26th - and apparently more on the way. It's good that the goats are cashmeres!

  7. At least having the goat family means it forces you to get outside. I, on the other hand, just want to hibernate.
