  1. You've really been faithful to your markmaking. How long have you been doing it? Was there a starting event that set you off?
I am currently observing 40 days (like lent but not religious) of house winnowing, as an experiment to see how it feels.

    1. I started with #DrawingAugust on twitter in 2014, trying to do a sketch every day. And then tried a few other month-long fun challenges on twitter. But I never made a complete month. Then - I don't know why - I suddenly decided to try a full year of daily markmaking, beginning on New Year's Day 2018. And just kept going!

  2. Seeing Stonehenge made me smile because there was a cartoon I just saw that featured people moving the stones to reflect the time change.
My sanity comes from having a needle and thread or yarn in my hand every day.

    1. Lately I've been knitting as much as my hands can take, and I'm going to miss it when I'm combing goats every day. Which honestly does not support my sanity ;)

  3. Very nice, the colored Stonehenge reminds me of candy slices, a cheerful sight.
I journal, play Wordle and do jigsawexplorer daily puzzle as routines of structure. I'm gearing up to make my first from a pattern quilt. I hope the experience gives me a confidence boost.

    1. Thanks - someone posts a photograph on twitter of sunrise at Stonehenge every day, and it's brought on a lot of sketches :) I do wordle and online jigsaws, too!
