It could have been so much worse! I feel very fortunate. The pump man said he bet he felt even happier about it that I did, but I think it was mutual.

The woodpecker is pulling hulled sunflower seeds, one by one, out of the "squirrel-proof" feeder, despite the suet block with handy tail brace about 18 inches away! Tastes differ :)
DeleteThe only thing worse than water in the wrong place is no water at all, especially when you have dependent animals. I'm glad it's fixed, though dang, that's expensive.
ReplyDeleteYep. I blinked at the estimate, and it came in a bit higher. But I'm just so relieved the problem wasn't worse! The pump man clearly expected it to be.
