Your plant knowledge always astounds me. And there's so many out there!
ReplyDeleteYou notice that I don't know the species on the Hawthorn ;)
DeleteLooks like your plants have survived the dumping of snow and hail a few days ago...phew! Trees are finally showing a tinge of green here and I've seen a few tulips when we've been out and about. Still too cold at night to leave plants out though. Picked up our planter soil and some plants via curbside pick up today (chives, parsley, romaine lettuce, oregano and a geranium which was purchased to hopefully attract hummers....but REALLY it was for me!!).
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your balcony garden :)
DeleteGlad you survived last night's storm with fences intact. What beautiful photos! Love that Clintonia, especially. The texture diversity in the anise hyssop photo is lovely.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Chris from Boise
The Clintonia is marvelous - the color and the sculptural quality of the leaves...I posted a line drawing of it tonight :)
