A few quick snaps
along the path between house and barn.

mayapple - Podophyllum peltatum

bluebead lily - Clintonia borealis


mapleleaf viburnum - Viburnum acerifolium


anise hyssop - Agastache foeniculum


sugar maple - Acer saccharum


wild ginger - Asarum europaeum


bloodroot - Sanguinaria canadensis

  2. Looks like your plants have survived the dumping of snow and hail a few days ago...phew! Trees are finally showing a tinge of green here and I've seen a few tulips when we've been out and about. Still too cold at night to leave plants out though. Picked up our planter soil and some plants via curbside pick up today (chives, parsley, romaine lettuce, oregano and a geranium which was purchased to hopefully attract hummers....but REALLY it was for me!!).

  3. Glad you survived last night's storm with fences intact. What beautiful photos! Love that Clintonia, especially. The texture diversity in the anise hyssop photo is lovely.
