Young mountain lion, pencil sketch
With thanks to my friend KB
who generously shares her wonderful wildlife videos and photographs
It's something I ponder...would love to live where I'd see lions in the wild, but it could be problematic with livestock. Like the coyotes here, it's always a trade-off. But I do have such a strong partiality for big cats!

I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leigh - it was very much a "you never know til you try" sketch :)
DeleteNicely done. Love the whiskers.
ReplyDeleteBig kitty :)
DeleteNice real expression on her face. Studying something. I like this one a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, Liz, I watched the video several times and stopped it in lots of places to find an expression I really liked :)
DeleteOh. My. That's lovely, Quinn.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue! Today I drew elephants. Walking on the wild side, here ;)
DeleteWell done! Very glad that it was taken from someone else's photo and not from person experience!

DeleteIt is incredible what you can do with a pencil! Thanks for choosing our young lion for your subject. It made me smile when I opened your post.
ReplyDeleteGood - that was my hope! :)
