    My favourite is the chickadee - they're not easy to capture in a photo.

      Thanks! I take many snaps to get ones with fluttery wings...one of my favorite ways to photograph birds :)

      We had our first snow last nightand the birdfeeder was busy from before sun-up today, non-stop...titmice, nuthatches, cardinals, even a woodpecker, but the chickadees dominate by sheer numbers. Sometimes they'll stay on the feeder even when I'm walking by on my way to the barns and pass only inches away.
