Sweetfern, Comptonia peregrina, is neither sweet nor a fern. It looks like something the dinosaurs would have walked through, releasing the warmest, spiciest aromas of imagination.
Well, at this age it happens in short bursts, followed by much snoozing tucked away in the barn. But when I see them out, I do tend to stop and watch :) I really miss having barn cams!
Once again I stupidly deleted a comment from an Unknown Reader, and I do apologize! But you are right - "sproinging" is EXACTLY the word for what baby goats do :)
