nearly wordless thursday

Too tired to write much tonight, but wanted to give you an update on Tansy -
happy to say, she is doing well :)

Also, wanted to share this little watercolor portrait done yesterday:

I am tickled to bits that it not only looks like a proper goat - which would have been enough of a thrill for me! - but it's actually recognizable as Tansy.
I was so surprised!

Last year I drew my first successful goat portrait - Lily of the Valley - and now, an entire year later, this is my second. Got to love #DrawingAugust.

    1. Thanks, Sally! I think tonight I may be able to skip Tansy's epsom salts soak - couldn't detect a limp this morning :)

    1. Thanks, Beth. I have a strangely difficult time "allowing" myself to just fool around with paints, but the watercolor pencils are a different story - So Much Fun!

    1. Thanks, Wendy! I'm very relieved about Tansy, and our sessions of epsom soaking have brought us much closer! (Or could that be the expectation of a whole bowl of carrot pennies every day?)
