Sweetfern, Comptonia peregrina, is neither sweet nor a fern, but is one of my favorite plants. It looks like something the dinosaurs would have walked through, and smells like all the warmest, spiciest, most magical aromas of imagination.
I know you must be quite sick of it by now, but I sure think it's beautiful!
Good Morning Quinn, It looks like you just needed more, right. I don't mean that the way I said that. When is it going to end? We are at 40 right now and suppose to get warmer. I know a lot of you are sick of the snow. It certainly has been a weird winter with where they are getting snow that haven't dealt with it that much. Have a good day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley
Ah - thank you Quinn. Too beautiful!
Well, you can't help but admire its beauty :) It's warming up here, and today was a perfect balmy spring day. I didn't even need my gloves when out taking photos!
Oh my! Those are some mighty big flakes. Brrr! I've got blue skies for you over here. Sending warm wishes, Tammy
I feel for you - enough already!!!
It looks like the winter that just keeps on giving, and giving, and giving! I hope that you're hanging in there. It *will* be spring someday!
We had that this morning..we didn't want it,so we sent it on.SORRY!Jane x
I'm crying for you. Above freezing today, most of the snow melted and a lot of the ice...unfortunately, not where it needed to melt...opening and closing the gate is still taking my life in hand.
