  3. HAHAHAHAHA - LOVE the final photo. Suppose Campion is a bit jealous of the "inside the house" view, as opposed to that of the goat barn? Merry Christmas, dear Quinn - I've been travelling and under the weather with sever allergies since Thanksgiving, leaving little or no time to blog and/or read...no excuses! Wishing you, and the critters, the most wonderful of Christmases. Hoping it's just a LITTLE bit snowy where you are, but thinking you're probably getting slammed with weather about now. Love to you, my friend - Merry Christmas - XOXO

  6. I hope your day was lovely, but I'm betting it was. You design all your days to be lovely. I just saw a news thing about a goat owner feeding his Christmas tree to his goats after the holiday! pix and all. It seems very unlikely to me, what's your take on that? presumably his tree was one without sprays, etc., in its growing time. I'm betting he grew it. But it does seem like a powerful taste and I wonder if goats like it.

    1. My goats LOVE conifers and would be happy to devour every bit of this massive fir. I'm trying to find out from the feed store if anything was sprayed on it. It will be very disappointing if I can't let the goats have it, but not worth an experiment if there is any doubt. For all I know, trees are now sprayed with fire retardant or something equally inedible!

  7. Merry Christmas, Quinn. My hat's off to you...putting up a tree on Christmas Eve...I couldn't muster the gumption at all.
