Sweetfern, Comptonia peregrina, is neither sweet nor a fern, but is one of my favorite plants. It looks like something the dinosaurs would have walked through, and smells like all the warmest, spiciest, most magical aromas of imagination.
Still got snow? Here even spring is heating up.
It's actually been warming up nicely for the past several days. This was last night's surprise snow, following a solid day of pouring rain! At this point, snow feels like a pleasant novelty...we've turned the corner toward Spring.
Wow, still so much snow! I've just finished lunch in my sunny garden (Southern England). Thank you for your comment on my blog, Yes you are right about how I finished the pockets on the waistcoat
Hi Quinn, Your pictures are pretty. We have had snow also. It has just been crazy weather with the temperatures 81 on Saturday with the crazy weather starting with rain, thunder and lightening. Then snow and woke up to 29 degrees yesterday. I want Spring back. Have a wonderful Easter. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
Ah yes, we got a bit of that too! Your snowfall is much prettier though :) I can smell spring in the air when I step outside, but still need the winter coat ... and we had such a warm weekend! Happy Easter Quinn! Wendy x
Oh no! Not again. Sending warm wishes your way, Tammy
The snow looks so lovely....there. But I guess you are probably ready for it to end soon. It can't be too much longer! ~Terri
Oh, I'm enjoying it - at this point, it's like a little farewell nod from Winter!
Sunrise on more snow for you??? Ruh roh. I bet someone isn't happy. It sure is pretty, though!!!I did sort of see the eclipse, and I have one photo today. I wasn't planning to wake up for it, but then I did by accident. I wasn't prepared to take a photo so I didn't do a very good job :( Oh well, there's always October!
I think you did an excellent job! And yes, I'm thinking October as well :)
Still snow! And I thought our two mornings of frost was bad. Awfully pretty to look at though.
