Sweetfern, Comptonia peregrina, is neither sweet nor a fern. It looks like something the dinosaurs would have walked through, releasing the warmest, spiciest aromas of imagination.
It's actually been warming up nicely for the past several days. This was last night's surprise snow, following a solid day of pouring rain! At this point, snow feels like a pleasant novelty...we've turned the corner toward Spring.
Wow, still so much snow! I've just finished lunch in my sunny garden (Southern England). Thank you for your comment on my blog, Yes you are right about how I finished the pockets on the waistcoat
Hi Quinn, Your pictures are pretty. We have had snow also. It has just been crazy weather with the temperatures 81 on Saturday with the crazy weather starting with rain, thunder and lightening. Then snow and woke up to 29 degrees yesterday. I want Spring back. Have a wonderful Easter. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
Ah yes, we got a bit of that too! Your snowfall is much prettier though :) I can smell spring in the air when I step outside, but still need the winter coat ... and we had such a warm weekend! Happy Easter Quinn! Wendy x
Sunrise on more snow for you??? Ruh roh. I bet someone isn't happy. It sure is pretty, though!!!
I did sort of see the eclipse, and I have one photo today. I wasn't planning to wake up for it, but then I did by accident. I wasn't prepared to take a photo so I didn't do a very good job :( Oh well, there's always October!
