I assume that both have the same father (I seem to remember only one suitor for Tsuga)? It's interesting that they are such different colors.KBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16885661679762446456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-30912489259404413922015-04-22T18:52:59.068-04:002015-04-22T18:52:59.068-04:00No, I did offer her one, but she declined ;)No, I did offer her one, but she declined ;)Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292701509476856967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-30490904390411681852015-04-22T18:49:43.875-04:002015-04-22T18:49:43.875-04:00Oh....a goat coat! I checked them both, but just had a feeling from watching their behavior that the grey kid was using more energy to keep warm than her sister was. She probably would have been "okay" without the coat, but with it, she had a little boost and could use her energy for other things, like digesting milk and growing.<br />I've got the same little ragtag coats that I made several years ago, when they were REALLY needed and I was cutting and stitching them while sitting on the ground next to new babies. I don't always use coats, but every year I get them out just in case. And after, I wash them and fold them up and put them away, marveling at how tiny the kids were when they wore them - usually just a week or two earlier :)Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292701509476856967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-31187919237807498682015-04-22T12:49:55.729-04:002015-04-22T12:49:55.729-04:00Happily, they did...whew! :)Happily, they did...whew! :)Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292701509476856967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-27860404401221697532015-04-22T12:49:11.964-04:002015-04-22T12:49:11.964-04:00You have to be quick - they don't stay still f...You have to be quick - they don't stay still for long :)Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292701509476856967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-4645422455238533142015-04-22T12:06:45.454-04:002015-04-22T12:06:45.454-04:00Dumb question, Quinn...why did just the one baby n...Dumb question, Quinn...why did just the one baby need a jacket?
