I have the same problem finding a competent yet affordable carpenter... actually I haven't found one yet which is why my chicken coup is still not built! *sigh* I hope you have good luck with this last carpenter!!! Gosh, can't remember the last time ice cream was in the freezer! I keep yearning for it but so far I've been able to resist. My fingers are crossed for a new baby goat...!!! That's another thing I need, someone to build a fence and a small out building so I can have some goats... do wish I had one of those handy DH's but alas I fell in love with a city boy, lol!
Hugs my sweet blogging sister,
Beth PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2204374863752308898.post-80022546121243933812014-11-25T10:01:45.733-05:002014-11-25T10:01:45.733-05:00so sorry about the high estimate. I'm not caught up on laundry, and spent half my quarters on a lottery tickets. Didn't win. Chocolate cupcakes with the white icing squiggles are a good substitute for ice cream. It happens so infrequently, around here anyway. I do hope you're able to find a carpenter who is Reasonably Priced. Hope the goats enjoy their sparking and little goatini's present themselves eventually.
The wind was fierce here but rain has stopped. Unfortunately, the top of the spruce tree decided to come down. Fortunately, not on the house but on a section of fence. I just looked, took photos and came inside. It was already a full day...finished checking/topping fluids in all vehicles, finished mortaring the hand cut limestone house foundation and all this after talking to various folks on the telephone. Oh yes, I do love it when a company decides to change things around and let's me know after the fact.
